💡 Tip from the expert

For optimal results on a dense, smooth surface (such as tiles), apply the primer undiluted. On a highly absorbent sand-cement floor, you can dilute the primer with water (consult the technical data sheet), but always ensure that the primer is completely dry and transparent before you begin leveling. This prevents adhesion problems at a later stage.

Whether you are working on a highly absorbent sand-cement floor or on a smooth, non-porous substrate such as existing tiling or terrazzo, this primer provides the perfect bonding bridge between the substrate and your leveling compound.

Thanks to its improved penetration ability, the 044 optimally seals the substrate, minimizing the formation of air bubbles in the leveling compound. Furthermore, the primer is widely applicable on wooden floors, anhydrite screeds, and even on old, water-resistant adhesive residues. With the EC1 Plus certification, you choose a very low-emission product that can be safely applied both indoors and outdoors.
