At Bouwshop Utrecht you buy wall paint, lacquer and all the tools you need — rollers, brushes, paint trays, cleaners and mixers — and have the painting carried out by us. We mix any colour to order from our colour fans. Prefer to paint it yourself? That is possible too.

Utrecht is our home base on the Sint Laurensdreef 38. From a single accent wall in a Leidsche Rijn apartment to a full repaint of a detached home in Houten — we know the area and advise on what suits your space. You can also come and view our colour fans in the shop.
Amsterdam
In Amsterdam we paint walls and woodwork in all kinds of buildings, from canal houses to modern new-build apartments. Older woodwork often needs extra preparation before lacquering.
Almere
Almere has many newer homes where painting is usually straightforward, alongside renovation projects where old paintwork needs stripping first. We advise on what your space needs.
The Hague
We also carry out painting projects in The Hague and the surrounding area, from first colour advice to a finished result. Our painters regularly travel towards Wassenaar and Rijswijk.
Rotterdam
In Rotterdam painting is often part of a wider renovation, such as in new-build apartments on the Kop van Zuid or older housing stock. We tailor the approach to the type of building.

What does painting cost?
The price depends on the surface area, the type of paint (wall paint or lacquer), the number of coats and the condition of the surface. After a free measurement and advice you receive a fixed, complete quote.
What is the difference between painting walls and lacquering?
Painting walls uses wall paint (high gloss, satin, matte or covering acrylic) on walls and ceilings. Lacquering uses lacquer paint on wood, such as window frames, doors and skirting boards, and requires different preparation and application.
Can you mix any colour?
Yes. We mix your desired colour based on our colour fans, with a very wide choice of shades for both wall paint and lacquer.
Can I just buy the materials from you?
Yes. You can buy paint, lacquer and all the necessary tools such as rollers, brushes and paint trays from us and do it yourself, or have the complete painting job carried out by us.
Is lacquer also suitable for outdoor use?
This varies per product: some lacquers are for indoor use only, others are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. We advise you on which lacquer fits your project.
