💡 Tip from the professional
When drilling deep holes with the 400 mm variant, it is important to 'clear' the drill regularly. Pull the drill back a little from the hole while it is rotating to release the accumulated drill dust. This prevents the drill from getting stuck due to friction. Because this Gröne drill is a 4-cutter, it drills much more smoothly; let the machine do the work and don't apply too much pressure, which significantly extends the life of the carbide head.
